At Mackenzie Fuels, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with the Newmarket Community Church and thrift store to improve their facilities and contribute to their mission.
The Newmarket Community Church and its thrift store are cornerstones of the local area, providing support, resources, and a welcoming space for so many. When we learned about the challenging conditions in the thrift store basement—an area heated to extreme temperatures due to commercial dryers—we knew we could help make a difference.
Thanks to the incredible team at Mitsubishi Electric Trane US, we were able to install a hyperheat system in the thrift store basement at absolutely no cost to the church. This system eliminates the stifling heat conditions, ensuring the staff and volunteers can work in a safe and comfortable environment, even during the hottest summer days.
A huge thank you to Alisha Neubert for capturing this project with her photography, and to the Newmarket Community Church for allowing us to contribute to such a valued community asset. It’s partnerships like these that remind us of the importance of supporting one another and investing in the well-being of our neighbors.
Take a look at some of the photos from the project below, and let’s continue working together to make a difference in our community!
